For families with children 3 to 4 years

This program will be held in the Innovation Lab, Ruth Faulkner Library

Learning English Through Storytime (LETS) is a literacy program provided to families with children ages 3 to 4 who primarily speak languages other than English. The program runs weekly, during school terms and aims to support parents and their children to develop basic English language skills. We share stories, sing songs and build positive behaviours around learning in a supportive and friendly environment.

Please ensure you are available for the following dates before booking your place:
10:00am to 11:30am, Thursday 7 May
10:00am to 11:30am, Thursday 14 May
10:00am to 11:30am, Thursday, 21 May
10:00am to 11:30am, Thursday 28 May
10:00am to 11:30am, Thursday 4 June
10:00am to 11:30am, Thursday 11 June

To book your place, please complete the online Learning English Through Storytime Expression of Interest Form or contact the library during opening hours on (08) 9477 7150) for assistance. We'll contact you when an opening in the program becomes available.

Please note:

  • Do not attend if unwell
  • ​If you can not make it to the event, we strongly encourage you to cancel your registration to ensure your spot is allocated to someone on our wait list
  • To enable a safe, enjoyable experience at our library events children aged 11 and under must be supervised at all times by a parent, guardian or carer
