Residents and property owners can dispose of whitegoods and e-waste safely and for free!

Description

If you are a City of Belmont resident or property owner and you have materials such as whitegoods, cardboard, polystyrene, flourescent light globes, motor oil, plate glass, mattresses, ensemble bed-bases, e-waste, and car batteries to dispose of, mark Saturday 15 March 2026 in your calendar for the City’s Whitegoods and E-Waste Drop-off Day.

Items that will be accepted: Whitegoods, cardboard, polystyrene, flourescent light globes, motor oil, plate glass, mattresses, bed bases, car batteries and e-waste (e.g. TVs, stereo equipment, computer equipment, phones and household appliances).

Items that will not be accepted: Asbestos, gas cylinders, paint, tyres, and household hazardous waste.

Enclosed footwear and proof of property ownership or residency within the City of Belmont is required.
